A functional emergency response facility that brings the team together

Behind the scenes, the WAACT survives as a collaborative effort between its charity fundraising team and its operational team. The core brief for their new home was to facilitate an organisational culture of mutual respect for this symbiosis to allow the charity to thrive.

Spaces were designed to support the wide range of emotions an emergency service must accommodate, from technical and medical agility, and post-operational fatigue, to grief, gratitude and celebration.
